A Little Too Quiet Around Here

I know it’s been quiet around the old Blog That Wouldn’t Die but that’s because I have been busy, busy, busy. I promise.

For starters, the latest great news is that Hazardous Press will be releasing a collection of my stories this fall/winter. A Feast of Buzzards will contain eleven stories total, one of those being more like a short novella. The novella and several of the other stories will be seeing print in the collection for the first time while others are reprints from earlier anthologies and venues.

In addition to that, the folks over at Grinning Skull Press will be releasing two anthologies containing my work. Attack! of the B-Movie Monsters: Night of the Gigantis will be released first and this homage to the old creature features contains my story, “Night of the Nanobeasts!” which is a campy little tale about mad science and giant creatures. Next up from them, presumably sometime around the Christmas holiday, is the Christmas horror anthology, O’ Little Town of Deathlehem which seems to be adding talented authors to its table of contents every week! My contribution is a nasty little family tale called “Home for the Holidays.”

Also I have been working on a secret project with a fellow author… more on that when the time is right.

Other than that, I have been continuing with works-in-progress and I stopped to churn out another novella which I am now working on editing for submission.

On the review front, my reading has been slow these days but I reread The Shining in preparation for Doctor Sleep which I am now reading and I thought I would do a review of those together when I’m done.

That’s all for now!
