And on the heels of the A Feast of Buzzards post, I’m going to hit you with the one-two-punch. Attack! of the B-Movie Monsters is an anthology from Grinning Skull Press that is devoted to capturing the spirit of those great old giant creature flicks. It’s brimming with stories by a horde of great authors, some of whom I have shared a table of contents with in the past.

In my story, “Night of the Nanobeasts” I really tried to encapsulate the feel of those old movies. So in it, you can expect to find almost no scientific basis for anything that happens, repressed sexuality, eye-rolling dialog, and terror freshly grown in the lab. I offer it with my tongue firmly stuck in my cheek.

The whole thing looks great and I can’t wait to dive into it over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Hmmm… I wonder if there are any giant, mutant turkey stories in here…
